Keith Powell was born in 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, and is a director, series creator, actor and writer, probably best known for being a part of “30 Rock” as James “Toofer” Spurlock. He also created the web series “Keith Broke His Leg” in which he also starred, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Powell started his career with the theatre company Contemporary Stage as their Producing Artistic Director, working on various stage projects such as “The Mouse That Roared”, “Indra & Agni Collide” and “Enter Pissarro”, and helped produce the workshop of “Kidding Jane”. He also directed two plays for the touring company Equalogy – “Four Hearts Changing” and “One Night”. He then forayed into more directing projects, which started to increase his net worth; these included “Dutchman”, “The Visit and Enter Pissarro” and “Quality of Science”. He’s also appeared in numerous commercials, and worked as a theatre actor – some of his credits include “Kidding Jane”, “Macbeth”, As Bees in Honey Drown” and “The French”.

Keith’s next project would be the hit series “30 Rock”, in which he appeared as a recurring character, eventually becoming a series regular; the sitcom starred Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin and would win critical acclaim throughout its run, winning numerous major awards, and Powell’s net worth would also increase as he continued to be part of the show. Simultaneously, he also shot a pilot called “Judy’s Got A Gun”, but it wasn’t picked up.

In 2008, he launched the self-funded series “Keith Powell Directs a Play” in which he also starred. He was also cast in the film “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” which starred Ben Stiller; the film was a sequel to “Night at the Museum” , and was a commercial success, despite mixed critical reception.

In 2014, Powell was cast in a recurring role in the series “About a Boy”, playing a workaholic friend of the character Richard; the series aired for a year on NBC and was an adaptation of the novel of the same name. He also became a part of the final season of the political drama “The Newsroom”, before making an appearance in the film “My Name is David”. In 2015, he created the web series “Keith Broke His Leg” which would win an Indie Series Award for Best Comedy Series.

For his personal life, it is known that Keith married visual artist Jill Knox in 2013.
