Kenneth Leung was born on 21 January 1970, in New York City, USA, and is an actor, perhaps best known for being part of the television series “Lost” as Miles Straume. He was also seen in the film “Star Wars: the Force Awakens” playing Admiral Statura, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Ken Leung? As of mid-2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $2 million, mostly earned through success in acting. Other films he has been a part of were “Saw” in which he played Detective Stephen Singm and “X-Men: The Last Stand” playing Kid Omega. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Ken Leung Net Worth $2 Million
Ken grew up in the Lower East Side of Manhattan before his family moved to Midwood, Brooklyn. He attended high school in Old Bridge, New Jersey, and after matriculating, he attended New York University (NYU) as a University Scholar, and would build his interest in acting there. After graduating, he joined the HB Studio and would find work in various black box theaters – small sometimes unofficial venues.
One of Leung’s first notable opportunities was in Brett Ratner’s “Rush Hour”, in which he played the villain’s henchmen in the buddy action comedy film starred Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan.
Leung’s skills were noticed by the director, and soon more opportunities would open for him. His net worth started to increase significantly as he was cast in “The Family Man”, “Red Dragon”, and “X-Men: The Last Stand”, and for Edward Norton’s directorial debut entitled “Keeping the Faith”, he cast Leung in one of the roles, also starring Edward Norton, Ben Stiller and Jenna Elfman.
Leung received a lot of acclaim for his performance and was recommended by Norton for other projects. Leung also performed in various television movies and independent projects, but continued to work with Brett Ratner in other film projects and would then work with Spike Lee for two films.
In 1998, Ken joined the play “Corpus Christi” in which he played James the Less and God. In 2002 he made his Broadway debut in “Thoroughly Modern Millie”. He continued to work starring in the independent film “Shanghai Kiss” in 2007, alongside Hayden Panettiere, earning a Special Mention at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, and the film also won the Feature Film Award at the Newport Beach Film Festival. During the same year, he also made a guest appearance in the final season of “The Sopranos” before joining the cast of “Lost” as Miles Straume, playing the character from the fourth season in 2008 up to the final season in 2010. All of these opportunities continued to build his net worth.
A few of Leung’s recent projects include “Star Wars; the Force Awakens” in 2015, and he was also a series regular in “The Night Shift” from 2014 to 2016. He has been cast in the Marvel series “Inhumans” too, as Karnak, set to release in 2017.
Not much is known about Ken’s personal life, which he prefers to keep private.

I did this thing for HBO called 'Strip Search' with Sidney Lumet, who was one of the best directors I've ever worked with. We actually had a rehearsal period before we shot, which is unusual.

I haven't been in a position to have the luxury to pick roles for most of my career, so I'm not practiced in that. Usually, when you want to be an actor, you take whatever comes along. If there's an audition, you go for it. If you get the job, you do it - just to get experience, to act, to meet people.
