Kim Kimble Net Worth $1.5 Million
Though Kimberly was born in Chicago, she moved to Los Angeles when she was a child with her two sisters and three brothers. Kimble’s mother and grandmother were also hairdressers, so of course it’s not a surprise that Kim started working in the beauty salon as well while being a teenager, initially as a shampoo girl for her mother. Despite dreaming about studying fashion design from a very early age, she was influenced by her family women, and chose to study hair design instead. She graduated from Dudley Cosmetology University in North Carolina, as well as from the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California.
Kim’s first salon, called “Phaze II“ was opened in 1995 in Los Angeles, and Kimberly began receiving recognition after that. Her breakthrough was her work for B*A*P*S star Halle Berry, since Kimble was Berry‘s hair stylist. It led to working with other celebrities, for example Beyoncé when she appeared in “Austin Powers: Goldmember”. Other of Kim‘s clients include Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Lady Gaga, Mary J Blige, Shakira, Eve, Kerry Washington and many more. She was even responsible for Shakira‘s hairstyle during her performance at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Kimble opened her second salon – “Epiphany Hair Studio” – in West Hollywood, California in 2000. The same year she also started her own hair care line called “Kimble BeautyTM”, which was designed for women of color in order to fit for different hair structures. Undoubtedly, Kimble can associate her net worth with two salons and her hair product line.
Also, Kimberley’s work appeared on the covers and pages of famous fashion magazines such as Vogue, Glamour, Elle and Vanity Fair, and not only in fashion-related publications, but also in commercials and advertising campaigns for brands such as CoverGirl, L’Oreal, Neutrogena, and even McDonald’s and Pepsi.
Throughout her entire career, Kimberly has also co-worked with well-known fashion photographers such as Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz, David LaChapelle and Patrick Demarchelier. Kim is also a Pantene Global Ambassador., and she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Hairstyling For A Miniseries Or A Movie in 1998.
Further, Kimble has a reality television series “ LA Hair“ which was launched in 2012, and has occasionally appeared on other TV shows as a guest, including “Oprah”, “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover”, “How Do I Look?” and many more.
In her personal life, Kimberly has never been married, but she has a 14-year-old son, who is a huge sports fan. In her spare time, Kim attends Zumba classes and does yoga.
