Kimbra was born as Kimbra Lee Johnson on the 27th March 1990, in Hamilton, New Zealand, and is a Grammy Award-winning singer, best known for her collaboration with Gotye on the multi-platinum single “Somebody That I Used to Know” in 2012. Kimbra’s career started in 2000.

Kimbra is a daughter of an orthopedic nurse mother, and Ken Johnson, who worked as a head doctor at the University of Waikato’s student health center.
