Kyle Richard James Gass was born on the 14th July 1960, in Castro Valley, California USA, and is an actor, and a member of the rock band Tenacious D, in which he plays the guitar and provides background vocals. He is often called KG, My Brother Kyle Kage of Rage Kage – the latter nickname refers to his calm personality. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 1993.

In 2001, they released their first self-titled album, from which the song “Tribute” was a big hit. In 2004, the band released the song “Fuck Her Gently”, then in 2006, the band made the film “Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny”. In 2012, the lords of Tenacious D gave a performance during the German ‘Rock am Ring’ festival alongside artists such as Metallica, Linkin Park, The Offspring, Soundgarden, Motörhead, Evanescence and Marilyn Manson which had more than 85,000 visitors.
