Lamar Joseph Odom, known simply as Lamar Odom, is a famous American basketball player, as well as an actor. Was considered to be chosen with the 1st overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft after a successful workout with the Chicago Bulls. However, the Bulls General Manager Jerry Krause decided to pass on Odom when he openly admitted to smoking marijuana every day. The Bulls instead chose Elton Brand with the 1st overall pick and Odom went 4th overall to the Los Angeles Clippers.
