Lara Flynn Boyle Wiki Biography

Lara Flynn Boyle is a famous American actress, as well as a model. In the film industry, Lara Flynn Boyle is perhaps best known for portraying Donna Hayward in the drama series “Twin Peaks”, and the role of Helen Gamble in the legal drama series entitled “The Practice”. Considered to be one of the highest-rated shows in the 1990, “Twin Peaks” received many critical praises and created a large and devoted cult fan base, which showed its support to the series over the run of two seasons. Even though the show only aired 30 episodes in total, Mark Frost’s and David Lynch’s series managed to become a part of the popular culture, as it was often referenced in various movies, video games, commercials, comic books and other media outlets. “Twin Peaks” was not only featured on the list of 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time compiled by the “TV Guide” magazine, but also inspired the creation of a psychological horror film directed by Lynch called “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me”.

When the show was cancelled due to declining ratings in 1991, Lara Flynn Boyle went on to appear in several other projects, until in 1997 she landed the role of Helen Gamble in “The Practice”, where she co-starred with Steve Harris, LisaGay Hamilton, Dylan McDermott and other famous actors. An award-winning series, “The Practice” also featured guest appearances from Calista Flockhart, Lake Bell, William Shatner, Doug Hutchison, and Christopher Reeve. The show was on air for eight seasons, as it finished its run of 168 episodes in 2004.

A famous actress, how rich is Lara Flynn Boyle? According to sources, Lara Flynn Boyle’s net worth is estimated to be $10 million. Needless to say, the majority of Lara Flynn Boyle’s wealth and net worth comes from her acting career.

Lara Flynn Boyle was born in 1970, in Davenport, Iowa, but spent most of her childhood in Chicago, Illinois, where she studied at The Chicago Academy for the Arts. Lara Flynn Boyle’s acting career started when she was sixteen years old, when she made her film debut in a coming-of-age film with Matthew Broderick entitled “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. Unfortunately, the majority of her scenes did not make it to the final cut. Following her film debut, Boyle went on to star in “Amerika”, a mini-series created by John Lugar, where the main characters were portrayed by Robert Urich, Wendy Hughes and Sam Neill. Prior to her breakthrough with “Twin Peaks”, Lara Flynn Boyle managed to appear in two other projects, namely a horror film “The Poltergeist III” and “Dead Poets Society”, yet her scenes were once again deleted in the latter film.

Even though Lara Flynn Boyle is most notable for “Twin Peaks” and “The Practice”, some of her other, more known roles include a comedy film with Mike Myers, Dana Carvey and Rob Lowe entitled “Wayne’s World”, a comedy-drama film starring Jane Adams called “Happiness”, Andrew Fleming’s film “Threesome” with Stephen Baldwin, and a neo-noir film with Nicolas Cage called “Red Rock West”.
