He has also worked as a director of movies “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” (2006), “Brüno” (2009), and “The Dictator” (2012). From 1989 to 1990, Larry wrote 19 episodes of “The Arsenio Hall Show”, while in 1991 he became a writer and producer of the cult show “Seinfeld”, which won several Golden Globes and Primetime Emmy Awards. Larry wrote 28 episodes until 1994 and worked as an executive producer or producer of 66 episodes. The success of the series made him a multi-millionaire and also secured him two Primetime Emmy Awards.

From 1996 to 1997, Charles wrote 19 episodes of the Golden Globe-winning series “Mad About You” starring Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser, while he also served as a producer of 46 episodes.
