Manuela grew up in a family of artists, having relatives and immediate family also doing design as well as written work; her parents worked as architects. From a young age, she wanted to pursue a career in acting, and went on to take theatrical acting studies at the school founded by Juan Carlos Corazza, as a part of the course entitled “Theater for Youth”. She then continued studying with Jorge Elnes, Fernando Eons and Augosto Fernandes, before making her film debut in 2007, being cast as the lead role in “Caotica Ana” which tells the story of a woman haunted by past lives of other young women who died tragically. The following year she was cast in the film “Camino”, which is inspired by the life of Alexia Gonzales-Barros who passed away from a tumor at the age of 14. Manuela also started appearing in television productions, such as “The Girl of Yesterday”, and then “La Senora” which became highly popular during its airing. More opportunities started coming Manuela’s way, which resulted in an increase in her net worth. She also started studying at The Acting School in London.

Velles was then cast in the film “Kidnapped” , playing the role of Isa, alongside Ana Wagener and Fernando Cayo. She continued taking more projects on television, including “The Blue Skin”, and “Hispania, the Legend” in which she played the role of Helena from 2010 to 2012. Afterwards, she was cast in the series “Infames” which was aired in Mexico, and tackles issues on corruption, drug trafficking and many more. Her next role would be in the role of Luisa Rivas the series “Velvet”, a love story between a seamstress and a fashion house heir – her net worth increased significantly thanks to the popularity of the show, and her remaining in the series for a year.

She then took on more film roles; a few of her latest projects include “In the End They All Die”, and “The Bride” which was directed by Paula Ortiz.

For her personal life, nothing is known about Velles’ romantic relationships, if any – she is still single. She likes to compose and play songs during her free time; some of her songs are featured in her acting projects.
