Martina Hingis Molitor was born on the 30th September 1980 in Kosice, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). She is known for being a professional Swiss tennis player, who was the youngest woman to win five Grand Slam titles, and is currently the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) ranks her the world No. 1 tennis player in doubles. Her career has been active since 1994.

Martina Hingis was born to Melanie Molitor, a retired top tennis player in Czechoslovakia, and Karol Hingis, a tennis trainer, but when she was six years old, her parents divorced, thus she moved to Trübbach in Switzerland with her mother. At the age of two, she began playing tennis and thanks to her skills as a four-year-old entered her first tournament. She had tremendous success in junior championships, winning the French Open at only 12 years of age, and the next year she won Wimbledon and reached the final of the US Open.

Her professional tennis career began in 1994, at only 14 years of age, and she finished her debut season at the 87th ranked player on the WTA list. During her career, Martina has won five Grand Slam single titles, including three Australian Open, and one Wimbledon and US Open title, which contributed considerably to her net worth. Unfortunately Martina struggled a lot with injuries during the 2000s, which forced her to retire in 2002, but before she retired, Martina won 36 career titles, and became the youngest ever world no.1 tennis player in history.
