After graduating college, Marty started to work as an engineer and focused more on the energy business. The Lagina family also had ties to vine-growing lands, so Marty and his son Alex established the Villa Mari Vineyards. Marty is a consultant to the business making decisions on the grapes to plant as well as helping with the details of things like the winery and the tasting room.
