Goss started gaining popularity when he formed the band Bros alongside Craig Logan and Luke Goss, and the band became popular in the 1980s thanks to songs such as “When Will I Be Famous” and “I Owe You Nothing”. Their songs were charting, and they helped increase their net worth. The group had a large teenage fanbase, however, Logan would soon quit the band. The Goss twins made two more albums but they eventually split up.
In 1995, Matt tried his hand with a solo career, releasing a few charting singles such as “The Key”. He found a bit of popularity which increased his net worth as he sold over five million copies during the course of his career. He then recorded the song “This Pain” alongside Denise Pearson, and he also worked with Paul Oakenfold in the song “Firefly”, which had a remix that proved very popular.
Around a decade later, Goss focused more on playing shows in Las Vegas, announcing that he was going live at the Palms Casino Resort. The following year, the show moved to Caesars Palace as part of Cleopatra’s Barge., then signing a three year deal with Caesars which helped his net worth. The show is produced by Robin Antin who’s known to have created the Pussycat Dolls. The popularity of the show has earned Matt several awards, and an invitation to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and also appear in a Yorkshire Tea television advertisement.
Goss then went on to sign a deal with UK’s Decca Records for the album “Life You Imagine”. The album was released in 2013 and had a big band version of his hit single “When Will I Be Famous”; in 2014, the album was released in the United States and one of his latest projects is the single “Gone Too Long”. Later in 2016, the Bros announced that they would reform to do UK shows in 2017. However, they cancelled many dates on their tour.
Aside from his music, Matt has written two books; the first was “More Than You Know: The Autobiography” a best seller that was published in 2005. Five years later, he released the children’s story “Bear Crimbo”.
For his personal life, it is known that Matt previously dated model Melanie Sykes. He was also reported to have been with “X Factor” star Rebecca Ferguson. Matt’s brother Luke has become a film actor, appearing in several mainstream films such as “Blade II” and “Hellboy II: The Golden Army”.
