Meagan Good Wiki Biography

Meagan Monique Good, commonly known as Meagan Good, is a famous American film producer, as well as an actress. Throughout her acting career, Good has been featured in a variety of television series, movies, and even video games. Among Meagan Good’s more notable appearances was her portrayal of Mya in Tim Story’s romantic comedy film called “Think Like a Man”. Inspired by a book entitled “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man”, which was written by Steve Harvey, the film features a cast of Kevin Heart, Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall, Wendy Williams, Chris Brown and Kelly Rowland to name a few. After the success of the film, Good was cast to play the main character in Liz Heldens’ soap opera “Deception”, where she co-starred with Laz Alonso and Tate Donovan. However, the series was cancelled by the NBC network after only airing for one season. More recently, in 2014, Meagan Good reprised her role of Mya in “Think Like a Man Too”, and appeared in an episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”. For her contributions to the film and television industry, Meagan Good has been nominated for Teen Choice Awards, MTV Movie Awards and NAACP Image Awards.

A well-known actress, how rich is Meagan Good? According to sources, Meagan Good’s net worth is estimated to be $8 million, most of which she has accumulated from her appearances in films and television series.

Meagan Good was born in 1981, in Los Angeles, United States. Good started her acting career at an early age, by making an appearance in the television series called “Doogie Howser, M.D.”. At the age of 13, Good landed her first major film role in F. Gary Gray’s comedy “Friday”, starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. Her appearance in the movie earned her a decent public exposure, as a result of which she was cast to play one of the main characters in Kasi Lemmons’ “Eve’s Bayou”. For her portrayal of Cisely Batiste, Meagan Good was nominated for an NAACP Image Award. Eventually, Good made the transition into more serious roles, as she was cast to appear in “Cousin Skeeter” and “3 Strikes”. Good rose to prominence in 2003 with Gary Hardwick’s romantic comedy film “Deliver Us from Eva” with LL Cool J and Gabrielle Union, following which Good began receiving more roles in such films as “Venom” starring Agnes Bruckner and Jonathan Jackson, “Roll Bounce” and “Waist Deep”. In 2006, she voiced a character in a video game “Scarface: The World Is Yours”, published by “Sierra Entertainment”. Following her successful movie appearances, Meagan Good landed a role in “Think Like a Man”, which only contributed to her overall fame.

In regards to her personal life, Meagan Good initially focused on her career, rather than her love life. However, in 2011 she met the film producer and motivational speaker DeVon Franklin, with whom she became engaged a year later. Several months after their engagement, Meagan Good and DeVon Franklin celebrated their marriage in California.
