Mike Connors was raised in his hometown, where he attended high school and was a basketball player in the school’s team. During World War II, he served in the US Army Air Force, and when he returned home he enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles on a scholarship, where he studied Law, and played basketball. His acting debut happened in the film “Sudden Fear” in 1952, credited as ‘Touch’ Conners.
