Myles had a troubled childhood since his parents divorced when he was only two years old, and he was raised by his father, who worked as a roofer to support Myles’ education. He went to Beecher Junior High, and once hitting seventh grade, Myles started wrestling. As he got older, he became more and more focused on fighting and under the guidance of Professor Don Richard he started training Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Just a year later, he began MMA training and fought for the first time when he was 15 years old. After he finished junior high, Myles became a student at Fenton High School, where he continued his career and became the district champion, and also received All-State honors in his senior year. After matriculation, he enrolled at Oakland Community College, however, he had to quit education, in order to focus more on training and later professional career.

Before he officially became a professional mixed martial artist, Myles had a 6-0 record as an amateur fighting in Shoot, and KOTC promotions.

His professional debut came in 2008 against Brad Johnson in MFL: Michigan Fight League. This was also his first professional win. Myles then joined KOTC as a professional fighter and won his first five bouts, all in the first round, which only increased his net worth. He then fought in the XCC: Rumble in Royal Oak against David Herlein, whom he also defeated in the first round.

In 2011, Myles was a part of The Ultimate Fighter 13 but suffered a serious injury that kept him sidelined for the entire year, and was out of the competition without even making a single fight. Anyways, he returned for The Ultimate Fighter 15 by defeating Akbarh Arreola to join the TUF house. Unfortunately, he lost in the preliminary round to Al Iaquinta.

However, he officially became a part of the UFC promotion, firstly in the Lightweight division, but has switched to Featherweight since 2015.

On his debut, Myles defeated Chris Saunders, which was his 10th victory overall and he continued successfully to secure a record of 15 wins without a lost match. Along the way, Myles defeated Michael Johnson, Ramsey Nijem, Mike Ricci, Diego Sanchez, and Takanori Gomi. However, his next fight was his first defeat, to Donald Cerrone at UFC 182 in January 2015. Later that year, Myles recorded his second loss, to Charles Oliveira, and was then out of the ring until April 2017, when he faced Mike De La Torre and defeated him in the first round by TKO. His next bout is scheduled for 30th December 2017, when he will face Rick Glenn, as a part of the UFC 219 event.

Aside from fighting, Myles is also a coach and has developed his own jiu-jitsu training, named Jury Jiu Jitsu, and has launched several young mixed martial artists.

Regarding his personal life, Myles tends to keep his most intimate details, such as marital status and number of children, hidden from the public eye, therefore, no reliable info is available about this mixed martial artist in the media.
