Nastassja was born to German actor Klaus Kinski and actress Ruth Brigitte Tocki, his second wife, of part-Polish descent. Her parents divorced when she was seven, and Kinski saw her father only rarely after that, as her mother brought up her and her siblings in Munich. As a teenager, Nastassja started working as a model, but began acting soon after, when actress Lisa Kreuzer recommended her for a role in Wim Wenders’ film “The Wrong Move“.
