Berkus attended Cushing Academy, and after matriculating started pursuing a career in design. He then attended Lake Forest College and interned at Dominique Aurentis in Paris, as well as at Sotheby’s in Chicago. The show would go on for three seasons and end in December 2011 when Sony decided not to renew it.
Berkus would then become the executive producer of “The Help”, and also made a guest appearance in a few episodes of “Days of Our Lives”.
