In his first season with the new team, Nazr won the NBA Championship, and helped his team with 6.2 points, and 5.2 rebounds per game. After the Spurs, Mohammed spent two years in Detroit, playing for the Pistons, and then four seasons for the Charlotte Hornets, and from 2010 until 2012 he played for the Oklahoma City Thunders, after which Nazr joined the Chicago Bulls, and played for them until 2015, then decided to retire, however, he played five more games for the Oklahoma City Thunders during 2015-2016 season.
