Nick Searcy was born on 7 March 1959, in Cullowhee, North Carolina USA, and is an actor, best known for being part of the series “Justified” playing Chief Deputy United States Marshal Art Mullen. He then moved to study English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, following which in 1982 he moved to New York, and became involved in stage productions, appearing in many off-Broadway plays for the next seven years, including “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Cabaret”. He then moved back to North Carolina and started to appear in local features, including “Days of Thunder” and “The Prince of Tides”, which is based on the novel of the same name. In 1991, he then played Frank in “Fried Green Tomatoes” which is based on the novel, “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café” by Fannie Flagg.
