Nicole Avery “Nikki” Cox is an actress and comedy writer, born on 2nd June 1978 in Los Angeles, California, USA, and is mostly known for her roles in the TV series “Unhappily Ever After”, “Las Vegas” and “Nikki”.
Have you ever wondered how rich Nikki Cox is? According to sources, it has been estimated that Nikki Cox’s overall net worth is $5 million, acquired through her acting career, which she started at a very young age. Since she is still very active in the entertainment industry, her net worth continues to increase.
Nikki Cox Net Worth $5 Million
Nikki was born the older of two children in the Avery Cox family. As she entered the world of show business as a child, her mother was her personal manager; her first appearance on screen was at the age of four, participating as a dancer in several TV specials and ballet productions. When she was ten years old she had her first acting venture, appearing in several movies and guest starring in shows such as “Baywatch”, “Eerie”, “Blossom”, “Mama’s Family”, “Indiana” and others. In the period from 1993 – 1995, she starred in the medical drama series “General Hospital”, and also regularly appeared in the Saturday morning program “California Dreams”. However, her first lead role came in the “Unhappily Ever After” TV series, in which she played the character of Tiffany Malloy. When the show was canceled after airing for 100 episodes, Nikki was next seen in “The Norm Show”, in which she portrayed the role of former prostitute Taylor Clayton. She also starred as Nikki White in “Nikki”, a sitcom which unfortunately lasted for less than two seasons. Her net worth was well established.
Starting from 2003, Cox played in TV drama “Las Vegas”, until her character crossed over to the soap opera “Passions” as the result of the arrival of two new characters on the show. In 2006, she became the spokesmodel for “Sportsbook.com”, an online gaming website, and three years later she was the voice behind the character of Jenna in the video game “Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust”. New acting opportunities came the same year, as she appeared in the comedy “Lonely Street” alongside Robert Patrick, Ernie Hudson, Lindsay Price and Jay Mohr. More recently, Nikki was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album at the 58th Annual Grammy, as the writer of Mohr’s album “Happy. And A Lot”.
When it comes to her private life, Cox has a younger brother, Matthew Cox who is also an actor and guest-starred in a number of episodes of “Unhappily Ever After”, alongside Nikki. She was engaged to Bobcat Goldthwait in 1997, but the two eventually split up. In December 2006, Nikki married actor Jon “Jay” Mohr, whom she met on the set of “Las Vegas”, and who hosted a radio show – Jay Mohr Sports, which was produced by Nikki’s brother and served as a part of his “Mohr Stories” podcast. Cox and Mohr have a son born in 2011.
