Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson Wiki Biography

Paris Michael-Katherine Jackson was born on 3 April 1998, in Beverly Hills, California USA, and is the only daughter of the (now deceased) king of pop music – Michael Jackson, and his second wife Debbie Rowe.

While Paris Jackson has not yet achieved any impressive achievements as an actress or singer, she already has a considerable net worth of $100 million, all of her wealth inherited from her father Michael Jackson, obviously the largest part of it after his unfortunate death in 2009.

Paris Jackson Net Worth $100 Million

Being a child of one of the highest ranked celebrities, meant that Paris had a fairly complicated childhood. During outings with her father, she and her brothers had to wear masks or some sort of coverings to avoid being publicly recognised, and were (and still are) constantly followed by the paparazzi. She is the second child of Michael Jackson and has two brothers – Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., nicknamed “Prince” and Prince Michael Jackson II, nicknamed “Blanket”. Most often, all three of the Jackson’s children attend social events and TV shows together; they are generally very close. Later, during an interview, Paris admitted that she had a hard time at school, and has experienced a lot of bullying and teasing because of being the daughter of a famous singer.

Michael Jackson’s death has been a devastating moment for many people, but more so for his children who were raised by Michael and loved him dearly. The first time that people actually saw and heard Paris speaking was when she was 11, during a public memorial held after her father’s funeral. While the death of the “king of pop” was an unexpected and sad turn of events, it dramatically increased Paris’s overall net worth. After that, both Paris and her brothers have been under the legal guardianship of Michael’s mother, Katherine, and have been more publicly open, appearing on a number of talk shows such as “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, and in a documentary entitled “Living with Michael Jackson”. In 2010 she, together with her brother Prince Jackson, attended the Grammy Awards ceremony, and accepted their father’s award for Lifetime Achievement.

Today, Paris is considered to be an actress and TV personality, even though she has only appeared in films related to her father, and been a guest on several talk shows. Her appearances on television have probably contributed further to her already impressive net worth. Most recently, in March 2017, Paris was signed to a modeling contract by IMG Models, made her acting debut in “Star”, and is now filming “Gringo”, scheduled for a 2018 release.

In her less-than-private personal life, it hasn’t been easy for Paris and her brothers, either before or after their father’s death. Paris’s mother gave up  custody soon after her birth which means that she was mostly raised by her father, who she loved dearly; later, the Jackson children were raised by their grandmother Katherine Jackson. When Paris was 15 years old, she suffered extreme depression (caused by the loss of her father) and apparently tried to commit suicide, however, with the help of her family, she managed to recover and nowadays seems to be happy with her life.

1[on living with her father] Now I see other kids and their parents and I compare them to my dad. Our dad was a really normal father when he was with us. We would get grounded if we did something bad, but he wouldn't call it grounding. He'd just say 'you're on punishment.' Sometimes we'd be on punishment a lot. Mostly me and Blanket because we'd always fight.
2There are kids at my school that talk so bad behind my back and they don't think I can hear them. A lot of times I can hear them. A lot of times my friends will tell me what they say and I'm like, 'okay cool.'
3[on being bullied] People have tried but it doesn't always work. At school and some people try to cyber bully me. They try to get to me with words, but that doesn't really work. A lot of people don't like me.
4[on attending private school after homeschooling] It's more normal. It's more fun. The social life has gotten better. I mean, there's drama but I try to stay away from that.
5[on her father covering her face as a child] I was really confused. I didn't get why I was wearing a mask, but I understand it now why my dad would want our face to be covered. When we went out without him we wouldn't be recognized and we could have a normal childhood.
6I just want to say ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine, and I just want to say I love him so much.
