Paula Abdul Wiki Biography
Paula Julie Abdul, known simply as Paula Abdul, was born in 1962, in California. She is a popular dancer, singer, television personality and choreographer. Paula is known for releasing such albums as “Forever Your Girl”, “Head Over Heels” and “Spellbound”. What is more, Paula is famous for being one of the judges of such shows as “American Idol”, “X Factor”, “So You Think You Can Dance” and others. During her career, Paula has been nominated for and has won many awards, some of them include American Music Award, Grammy Award, Juno Award, MTV Video Music Award and others.
So how rich is Paula Abdul? It is estimated that Paula’s net worth is $30 million. The main source of this high sum of money is, of course, her successful career as a dancer and musician. This sum might change in the future as Paula is still continuing her career.
Paula Abdul Net Worth $30 Million
Paula started attending dance classes when she was just a little girl. She studied at Van Nuys High School, and there she was a cheerleader. Later she continued her studies at California State University, and was selected to become the cheerleader of the “Los Angeles Lakers”. Soon she earned acclaim and became the head choreographer. This made Paula Abdul’s net worth grow. After some time, Paula was noticed by “The Jacksons” and they asked her to do the choreography for their song “Torture”. She did a great job and continued working with “The Jacksons”. This, of course, also added to Paula’s net worth. She has also released many dance workout videos and even a DVD series, entitled “Cardio Cheer”.
In 1998 Paula began her career as a singer and released her first solo album, entitled “Forever Your Girl”. The album gained a lot of success and made Paula even more popular. It is clear that it also made Abdul’s net worth grow. Later she released another album and in 1991 was even included in to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As mentioned before, Paula is also known for her career as a television personality. In 2002 she became a part of the show called “American Idol”. There she worked with Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell. She also worked in “Entertainment Tonight”, both of which had a huge impact on the growth of Paula Abdul’s net worth. In 2011 she also started working as one of the judges of the show called “The X Factor”.
When talking about her personal life, it can be said that Abdul was married twice, but unfortunately both marriages ended in divorce.
All in all, it could be said that Paula Abdul is probably one of the most talented women in the music industry, one of the most successful dancers and singers. She has achieved a lot during her career and has worked with many different artists. As Paula continues her career there is no doubt that she will achieve even more and will be a part of different interesting projects. When this happens, Paula Abdul’s net worth will also become higher. Let’s hope that we will soon be able to hear more about her.
