Peter David Jones, born on the 18 of March, 1966, is a British businessman and television personality who became famous for his shows like “Dragon’s Den” and “American Inventor”.

Born in Maiden head, Jones attended Desborough School while growing up and later on in The Windsor Boy’s School as well. As a teenager, he has a passion for tennis and even dreamt of becoming a tennis coach but his passion for business grew and he was led to a new career.
At such a young age, Jones started his first computer company. He made personal computers under his own brand and also joggled opening another business in a form of a cocktail bar. Unfortunately his early ventures in business didn’t succeed, leaving him penniless and homeless.
After moving back to his parent’s home due to bankruptcy, Jones worked with Siemens Nixdorf Informationsysteme and that is where fate began to change. After receiving enough success and increasing his wealth, Jones then opened his new company Phones International Group in 1998.
The company became one of the fastest growing in United Kingdom and its success brought tremendous wealth to Jones.
Jones decided to open more ventures and businesses after the success of his Phones International Group. His next projects included Wines4Business.com, in which they supply wines and champaignes to various companies; Celsius, a recruitment company; and Peter Jones Enterprise Academny, where the school trains students to enhance their entrepreneurial capability. His various investments and ventures also increased his wealth tremendously.
Despite enjoying success in the corporate world, Jones also ventured in the world of television. In 2005, he joined BBC’s “Dragon Den” in which he became one of the show’s original dragons. He also became part of various shows like “American Inventor” which was produced by Simon Cowell and his own production company, Peter Jones Television, “Tycoon”, and “Peter Jones Meets…”. His various appearances in television made him a popular personality in the world of business and also increased his net worth.
Today, Jones is still active with most of his television shows and is still involved with most of his companies.
In terms of his personal life, Jones was married to Caroline and together they have two children. Unfortunately the marriage ended in divorce. Today, he is know with girlfriend, Tara and together they have three children.
