Patrick Carpentier, Bill Elliott, Elliott Sadler, Casey Atwood, Jeremy Mayfield, Erin Crocker, Kasey Kahne and Chase Miller have been the drivers of Evernham’s team. George N. Gillett, Jr purchased the majority of shares of the team in 2007, but Evernham sued him in 2011 because Gillett failed to fulfill his co-owner duties, and the suit was settled in 2012 outside the court for an undisclosed fee.

Ray Evernham also worked as an analyst, covering NASCAR for ESPN/ABC in 2000, from 2008 to 2010, and from 2012 to 2013.

Regarding his personal life, Ray Evernham was a playboy when he was younger thanks to his good looks, and he dated numerous girls.
