Renato Junior Luz Sanches was born on 18 August 1997, in Amadora, Portugal, and is a professional football (soccer) player, best known for playing with the Portugal national team, Swansea City in the English Premier League (EPL), and German club Bayern Munich. He plays as a midfielder and has been active as a senior since 2014. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Renato Sanches? As of early-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $10 million, mostly earned through a successful career as a footballer. He is the youngest Portuguese to ever play in an international tournament, and is a recipient of the Golden Boy Award. Renato grew up in an impoverished neighborhood – his parents split up just months after he was born, and so he wasn’t registered until 2002. At an early age he started playing football with Aguias da Musgueira, before moving to the SL Benfica’s youth system the following year; he initially had reservations about travelling to their academy, but eventually joined them.

In 2014, Sanches made his professional debut as a part of the B-team of Benfica, playing several games with the team before being promoted to the first team the following year, eventually getting more playing time, and setting him up for a new contract with Benfica. His net worth started to increase as he performed well in numerous wins – he became the club’s youngest player to score a home goal in the 21st century. He continued to help the team get wins up to the “2016 Taca da Liga Final”, which they won.

Renato was then signed to a contract with German team Bayern Munich, which raised his net worth significantly. With the contract, he became the most expensive Portuguese player to leave the domestic league and the first Portuguese player to join the Bavarian side. His initial fee was the fourth highest paid in Bayern Munich history. He made his debut after recovering from injury, and would eventually win the Golden Boy award, making him the first Portuguese player to do so. He then joined the EPL club Swansea City as a part of a one year loan from Bayern.

Sanches has also played internationally for Portugal in several events – in fact his performances in international competitions led him to join Bayern Munich. He played 40 times at youth level, winning several awards, as a part of his play with the national team,. He took Ronaldo’s record as the youngest Portuguese to start in a major tournament, when he played in UEFA Euro 2016 at 18 years, and was even elected man of the match against Croatia, and Young Player of the Tournament after defeating France in the final. He has so far appeared 13 times at senior level.

For his personal life, nothing is known about Renato’s romantic relationships, if any, not even rumours. There has been a lot of controversy regarding his actual age, due to the gap between his birth and registration, but the hospital where he was born eventually issued a document proving his date of birth.
