Auditioned for the 2004 season of Popstars (2000), making the top 60. However, when the Popstars judges trimmed down the contestants to 40, she was among those cut from the competition. She was widely believed to be the popular choice to win the 2nd season of Australian Idol (2003), however was voted off earlier than expected, earning her 7th place in the competition.
