Robert Gerard Goulet was born on the 26th November 1933, in Lawrence, Massachusetts USA, of French Canadian parents, and was an actor and singer, the winner of Grammy, Emmy and Tony Awards. Goulet was active in the entertainment industry from 1951 to 2007, when he passed away.
How much was the net worth of Robert Goulet? It has been reported by authoritative sources that the overall size of his wealth was equal to $10 million, converted to the present day. Acting and singing were the major sources of Goulet’s fortune.
Robert Goulet Net Worth $10 Million
Goulet’s breakthrough was the role of Lancelot in the stage production of the musical “Camelot” (1959), after which he was invited to appear or star in a number of series, including “The Ed Sullivan Show” (1962), “The Danny Thomas Show” (1962) and “The Jack Paar Show” (1962). Moreover, he won the Grammy Award in the category of the Best New Artist in 1962. In addition, he is also the winner of several Emmy Awards for starring in the television series “Brigadoon” (1966) as well as “Kiss Me Kate” (1968). It should also be said that Goulet won the Tony Award for the Best Actor in 1968, for the role he landed in the musical “The Happy Time”.
Regarding feature films, he appeared in the blockbusters “Beetlejuice” (1988) and “Scrooged” (1988). In 2000, he appeared as himself in the series “TV Funhouse”. The last time he appeared on the stage was in 2005, in the musical “La Cages aux Folles” and was again praised by critics.
As a singer, he participated in the recording of more than 30 studio albums. Many of them consisted of the songs sung in various musicals including “Annie Get Your Gun” (1963), “The Happy Time” (1969), “Brigadoon” (2014) and many others. It should be said that his personal studio album “My Love, Forgive Me” released in 1964, reached the 22nd position in the main music chart in Canada.
Finally, in the personal life of Robert Goulet, he was married to Louise Longmore from 1956 to 1963, and they had a child together. Then he married the actress Carol Lawrence, with whom he had two children, from 1963 to 1981. And finally from 1982 until his death, he was married to Vera Goulet. On the 30th September 2007, Goulet was hospitalized in Las Vegas with the diagnosis of idiopathic fibrous alveolite, an unusual condition that can be aggravated rapidly and can lead to death. After a few weeks, he was moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center when it became clear he would not survive without a lung transplant. On the 30th October 2007, he died, still waiting for the transplant.
“The Ed Sullivan Show” (1962), “The Danny Thomas Show” (1962), “The Jack Paar Show” (1962), “An Hour with Robert Goulet” (1964), “Brigadoon” (1966), “Kiss Me Kate” (1968), “The Happy Time” (1968), “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (2003), “TV Funhouse”, “La Cages aux Folles...

Quote
1
One of the lines in "Man Of La Mancha" spoken of the Duke in the play by Cervantes/Don Quixote is, "He carries his self-importance as if afraid of breaking it", amuses me immensely. No one should take himself that seriously.
2
It would be difficult to decide in my roller coaster existence, just when I had my 'Best Day.' Perhaps it was when I married my present wife, Vera. Or the day when my three children were born. Certainly the day I came away cancer-free from a prostate operation stands near the top. For now, everyday seems as if it should be the best day of them all. I like to think of them as such.

Inducted into the International Mustache Hall of Fame in 2015 (inaugural class) in the category Music & Arts.
2
When he had surgery on a split femur in the mid-1990s, he asked the surgeon if he would be able to dance afterward. The doctor said yes. Goulet replied: "That's good, because I couldn't dance before.".
3

4
He lived in Las Vegas, NV in his later years, until his death.
5

7
He had fallen ill while flying home to Las Vegas after performing a concert in Syracuse, NY, on September 20, 2007. Goulet was rushed to St. Rose Hospital in Las Vegas on September 30, 2007, where he was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. On October 13, 2007, he was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after it was determined he would not survive without an emergency lung transplant. He died at 10:17am, on October 30, 2007, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, while awaiting a transplant. He was cremated in the night of November 9, 2007 and his ashes will remain in Las Vegas with his wife, Vera.

9
Longstanding rumor that his real name is Stanley Applebaum is false, although many web sites and even reference books continue to report this. The rumor results from an in-joke that Goulet tried to make to a group of reporters that wasn't understood. Goulet tells the story behind the rumor on his web site.
