He came to prominence as the founder and the managing director of the Crescent Financial Partners, through which he invested in more than 200 companies in various areas of business. However, he had first been charged with tax evasion in the mid-1990s, and was then involved in several cases of abuse, physical and mental, against his wives and girlfriends over the ensuing years. Then in 2011, he was charged with alleged misappropriation of funds, the details of which are somewhat vague, but certainly didn’t help him.
