Sam Huntington Net Worth $2 Million

Sam is the son of artist parents; his mother was an actress and owns a theater for children, The Black Box, where Sam took his first steps towards acting, while his father was a cabinet maker and had his own business. Also, Ralph Bellamy was Sam’s great-uncle – when Ralph passed away, his Academy Award was passed on to Sam himself. Encouraged by his mother, Sam appeared in her the Black Box theater, but also was a part of Andy’s Summer Playhouse and Franklin Pierce College in Rindge. From 1991 to 1994, Sam was a part of the Peterborough Players in Peterborough, appearing in several productions, including “To Kill a Mockingbird”. Then in 1995 he signed a contract with JM Bloom Agency, located in New York, and he lived there for a year with his mother.

In order for his education not to suffer, his mother enrolled him at The Professional Children’s School, where he attended seventh grade, and once his professional career commenced, a tutor was hired to get him through the eighth grade lessons. He started appearing in commercials and had several voice-over works once he settled in New York, and then signed a contract with Disney for three films, but appeared only in the comedy “Jungle 2 Jungle” (1997).

His career officially began; Sam continued with the role in the comedy film “Detroit Rock City”, next to Edward Furlong, Giuseppe Andrews and James DeBello. In 2001 he played Ox in the comedy “Not Another Teen Movie”, and in 2004 had the lead role in the romantic comedy “Home of Phobia”, with Marla Sokoloff, and Mike Erwin. He came to prominence with the role of Jimmy Olsen in Bryan Singer’s sci-fi adventure “Superman Returns” in 2006, and also gave the voice to his character in the video game of the same name. In 2009 Sam starred in the adventure comedy “Fanboys”, while in 2011 he was chosen for the role of Josh Levison in the TV fantasy horror series “Being Human”, next to Sam Witwer, and Meaghan Rath. The role moved him a level higher in the Hollywood scene, and during his stint in the series, Sam featured in several notable roles, such as Marcus in the “Dylan Dog: Dead of Night” (2010), then as Carl in “Three Night Stand”, and as Luke Haldeman in “Veronica Mars” (2014), all of which also increased his wealth to a large degree. Then in 2016 he appeared in Clint Eastwood’s Academy Award- nominated drama about American pilot Chesley Sullenberger, entitled “Sully”, starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart, and Laura Linney, and also featured in the comedy “Second Nature”, next to Collete Wolfe, and Carollani Sandberg.

Furthermore, in 2016 he started portraying Mitchie Mendelson in the TV series “Rosewood”, and so far has appeared in over 20 episodes of the award-nominated show, which further increased his wealth. Most recently, Sam will appear in the made-for-television film “Losing It”, which is currently in pre-production, and scheduled for release late in 2017.

Regarding his personal life, Sam has been married to producer, director and actress Rachel Klein since 2006; the couple has two children together.

#Quote
1I was in love with the British 'The Office', so even though I love Steve Carell, when they were going to remake it, I was like, 'This is not going to work. I'm going to completely veto this show. I am not going to watch this show.' But now, I love it.
2I would be hard-pressed to look back at anything that I have done in my career and not say, 'I would have done that a little different' because hindsight is 20/20.
3You get to a place where you do your job, and then you dust your hands off and say, 'Okay, my job is done. Now, it's in the stars. We'll see what happens.' There's nothing I can do to affect it.
4There are movies that I love tonally, that I would love to emulate. Anything from Wes Anderson or the Coen brothers is right in my wheelhouse, as something that I would aspire to. I love that kind of indie, fun, colorful, funny, sweet, heartfelt but dark film.
5I always learn something from every actor I've ever worked with. I always pick something from them.
6In all seriousness, I'm flattered and humbled to have been asked to reprise my role as Luke in the 'Veronica Mars' movie.
7My kid is a year and a half old, and I just want to roll around on the floor with him for a little bit and have a normal relationship with my family.
8I can tell you Kristen Hager is one of my all time favorite people to work with ever and one of the greatest scene partners, and I'm such a lucky guy.
