Have you ever wondered how rich Sara Bareilles is, as of mid- 2016? It has been estimated from authoritative sources that the total size of Sara’s net worth is as high as $16 million. She has been accumulating this amount of money largely through her successful career as a musician. Additional to her music career, she has appeared in a number of TV shows, which have also increased her overall net worth.

Sara Bareilles Net Worth $16 Million

Sara Bareilles was raised with two elder sisters in a Catholic family by Bonnie Halvorsen, who was a funeral home worker, and Paul Bareilles, who worked as an insurance adjuster. While she attended high school, she joined the school choir Limited Edition, and became very active in the school productions. After matriculation, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she became a student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Communication Studies program.

Soon after she graduated from the UCLA, Sara began to sing at local bars, but soon she managed to build a name for herself, and started to perform at larger events and venues. In 2003, she released two demo CDs, “The First One”, and “The Summer Sessions”. Little by little her career continued to improve, and in 2004, she released her debut studio album, entitled “Careful Confessions”, soon after which she signed a contract with Epic Records, and started working on her second album, and major label debut. This album came out in 2007, entitled “Little Voice”, and it reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart, and achieved platinum status, increasing Sara`s net worth by a large margin.

She continued successfully, and three years later released her third album; entitled “Kaleidoscope Heart”, it topped the US Billboard 200 chart, and it sold more than 450,000 copies, which only increased further the overall size of her net worth.

Sara`s next album came out in 2013 – “The Blessed Unrest” – reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, and most recently she released her fifth album, entitled “What`s Inside: Songs From Waitress”, which has also added to her net worth.

Sara’s wealth has also increased thanks to collaborations with famous musicians, including Ingrid Michaelson, One Republic, Greg Laswell, Tony Lucca, Dan Wilson, and Nathan East, among others.

When it comes to speak about her personal life, there is no information in the media about Sara Bareilles, apart from the fact that she regards herself as a “sort of feminist”, fighting for women rights, and not only being considered as sex symbols. In free time, she is active on social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where she has a huge number of fans and followers.

1If you take your fear and mash it into something that's actually useful, then it doesn't feel like it wins.
2It's so easy to just rip someone's work apart.
3I feel like my songs are like diary entries for me. So I usually write about things that have happened to me specifically or sometimes it can be someone who's close to me.
4I have been influenced by many different artists at many different stages of my life. Starting out, it was people like Elton John, Billy Joel, Ben Folds, and Fiona Apple. As I got older I got deeper into the work of bands like the Beatles, artists like Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Etta James, and Joni Mitchell.
5I have been very fortunate to be a part of tours with other artists that have exposed me to new places that I've never been before. Once you discover something beautiful, you just want to keep coming back.
6I would like to look back on my body of work and be proud of each record in its own right, but as a whole, I want to continue to grow and move forward.
7I'm never gonna be somebody who's gonna fall down from the sky on a trapeze. That's not me. I really want to make sure that my focus stays on connecting with the audience.
8My hairstylist taught me a trick for my hair. You section off your hair and put them up in these crazy little knots and then it looks like you curled your hair. It's saved me so much time 'cause on the road you don't have time or plugs to plug your curling iron in.
9Nobody ever thinks a song is about them. Well, not when it's mean. When it's a good song everybody thinks it's about them. And when it's mean, nobody thinks it's about them.
10I would never intentionally want to hurt someone's feelings.
11I'm grateful to have the chance to be inspired by the incredible artists that are out there.
12I'm of the ilk of writers that feels you have to be open to the inspiration.
13I'm writing about emotions.
14The women in my family are all super-emotional. The catchphrase in our family is 'Listen to my words, not my tears.'
15I never played coffee shops; I just played a lot of coffee shop-sized venues. I took every venue I could get my hands on.
16I think I have some anger-management issues, and they end up coming out in these passive-aggressive songs that sound happy.
17I used to sing songs from musicals all the time as a kid.
18I was a fat girl growing up and had to change schools because kids were so mean.
1Her father is of French (the origin of her surname), Italian, and Swiss-Italian, descent. Her mother is of three quarter Portuguese ancestry, with the remainder of her mother's roots being English and German.
2She is very good friends with Ingrid Michaelson.
3In the interim talking on her "Live from So Ho" EP, she mentions that she often doesn't get paid when she plays at universities because of her excessive swearing.
4The youngest of three Sisters.
5At an appearance in Ann Arbor Michigan (February 23rd 2008), she stated that she would like to do a voice in a Disney movie.
