Although born in Ohio, Sarah spent her childhood in Lake Forest, Illinois where she went to Lake Forest High School. During her high school years, Sarah was quite involved in sports, playing field hockey and basketball, while also being on the track and field team. As a result, Sarah was named MVP and captain of all three teams in her senior year.
After matriculation, Sarah enrolled at Cornell University, from which she earned a degree in English language. She continued her sports career in college, as she was part of the track and field team of the University.
Soon after graduation, Sarah started her career by joining Fox Sports Net, but in no time received other offers, including from MouthpieceSports.com and ChicagoNow.com. She worked for both sports websites, and then transferred to radio by joining WGN to serve as guest host of the show “Chicago Now Radio”. Sarah’s name became quite well-known, and after several more engagements, such as reporter for the Big Ten Network, and co-host of the WGN-TV show “Chicago’s Best”, Sarah finally joined ESPN in 2012. Initially, she was a part of ESPN 1000 and also as a columnist for espnW.com, thanks to her experience as a sports writer, which increased her net worth to a large degree.
In 2015, Sarah was made co-host of the show “Spain & Prim”, next to Prim Siripipat, then the following year she teamed up with Kate Fagan and Jane McManus to launch a new national ESPN Radio show “The Trifecta”, which further increased Sarah’s net worth. Thanks to her successful work, in 2016 she was rewarded by ESPN when she was given her own podcast show “That’s What She Said”, and since then has featured in a number of ESPN shows, such as “Mike & Mike”, “First Take”, “His & Hers”, “The Sports Reporters”, and “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz”, among many others, which have added considerably to her net worth. In September 2016, Sarah was awarded a new multi-year contract with ESPN, and upon signing, Sarah and Israel Gutierrez became hosts of the new ESPN Radio show “Izzy & Spain”. Most recently, with Mike Golic Jr. she has hosted Fantasy Football Island.
When it comes to her personal life, Sarah has been married to Brad Zibung since 2016. Back in 2007, Sarah received negative attention for advertising herself on eBay by posting provocative pictures of herself; she wanted to find a date for the Super Bowl XLI since her friends didn’t have enough money to buy tickets. Sarah didn’t want to end up shorthanded for a Super Bowl spectacle, and offered herself to be someone’s date. This led to increased media attention, but Sarah is not now proud of her actions, though she describes it as a joke.
