During the same year he co-wrote ‘’Keep Us Safe’’ for American country singer Carrie Underwood, then two songs for ‘’Tangled Up’’, an album by Thomas Rhett. ‘’T-Shirt’’, one of those two, received a positive response from critics, entering the Hot Country Songs chart in 39th place. As of the same year, Shane’s talent earned him a Grammy nomination, and two more in 2016, for albums ‘’Pageant Material’’ and ‘’Montevallo’’.
