Steven Seagal Net Worth $22 Million

So how rich is Steven Seagal? Sources estimate that Seagal’s net worth is over $22 million; it is not hard to understand where his wealth comes, as Steven works not only as an actor, but also is involved in many different activities. If he continues to be this busy in the future, there is no doubt that his net worth will become higher. Hopefully, his fans will be able to see him acting in a new movie or television show soon.

When Steven was only 13 years old, he started working at one of the local restaurants, where one of the cooks taught him karate. Soon he started attending aikido school, called “Orange County Aiki Kai”. Steven became so interested in martial arts that he spent a lot of time training and became one of the first foreigners to be a professional at aikido dojo. In 1987 his career as an actor began in the movie called “Above the Law”, which gained huge success and it had a large impact on the growth of Steven Seagal’s net worth. Soon he received invitations to act in such movies as “Out for Justice”, “Marked for Death” and “Hard to Kill”. In 1992 Steven appeared in one of his most successful movies, entitled “Under Siege”, which brought worldwide fame, and of course, added significantly to his net worth.

While becoming popular as an actor, Seagal also tried his skills as a movie director. In 2009 Steven created his own reality show, called “Steven Seagal: Lawman”. This show added a lot more to Seagal’s net worth. Other films and television shows that he has appeared in include “Never Say Never Again”, “Hard to Kill”, “Half Past Dead”, “Out for a Kill” and many others.

As mentioned before, Seagal does not only act, but is also known for being a musician. He has released two albums: “Mojo Priest” and “Songs from the Crystal Cave”. These also had an effect on Steven’s net worth. What is more, Seagal is involved in various business activities and is quite successful as a businessman.

To talk about Seagal’s personal life, it can be said that he has married four times, previously to Miyako Fujitani (m. 1975–86), Adrienne La Russa (m. 1984–87) and Kelly LeBrock (m. 1987–96). Now he is married to Erdenetuya Batsukh. Seagal has seven children. Finally, it can be said that Steven Seagal is a very interesting personality. He has so much going on in his life that it is hard to believe how he can do all these things and not become exhausted. Steven is, undoubtedly, a hardworking man, who has experienced a lot during his career. Hopefully he will be able to continue his activities long into the future.

#Quote
1[on rumors that he is difficult to work with] I think if I'm with professional people, I'm easy to work with. But it's real hard for me if I have to work with somebody who doesn't know what they're doing. Because my name and my reputation are on the line.
2False FBI accusations fueled thousands of articles saying that I terrorize journalists and associate with the Mafia . . . these kinds of inflammatory allegations scare studio heads and independent producers -- and kill careers.
3Action films are great, but an action film that has characters that are compelling and a story that people can care about is something even better. We love to see action heroes that are vulnerable, that are sensitive, that are family people, that are accessible.
4The secret is not to act, but to be.
5[on actors who become political leaders] [Ronald Reagan] was a pretty good one, but I think it really depends on the situation.
6[on President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of the Philippines] I've never met her, but my impression of her is that she's very straight, sincere, honest, really talented president, and I hope she gets re-elected.
7[on his feelings regarding past movies] Hollywood is a mercurial place where people are sort of . . . a victim of their environment and how the environment changes. Movies that would be timely now, ten years from now would be passé and nobody would be interested in the subjects. All the movies that I have done I have not been in control of. Sometimes there is a contractual situation where you go to the studio and they kind of tell you which ones they want you to do. Be that as it may, I have also been lucky in the sense that I have been able to make environmentally conscientious movies as well as politically conscientious movies. Above the Law (1988) was a politically conscientious movie. On Deadly Ground (1994) was environmentally conscientious, so I want to keep making movies like that which are more geared with a certain entertainment value but also bring people forward into contemplation.
8[on what he thinks are the most important lessons that one should strive to live by in Aikido] Try to find the path of least resistance and use it without harming others. Live with integrity and morality, not only with people but with all beings.
9I am hoping that I can be known as a great writer and actor some day, rather than a sex symbol.
