She was a part of the Melendez team, but she lost in her first bout to Randa Markos. She won by unanimous decision to compile a record of five straight wins,and continued with success as she defeated her next opponent, Angela Hill, at the UFC 188, and then was named a winner in a fight against Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger at the UFC 194. Her first and only loss so far happened in April 2016, when she fought against Rose Namajunas at the UFC on Fox: Teixeira vs. Evans.
