Afterwards, he enrolled in Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, graduating cum laude with a BA degree in Public Policy. As a student, he won the top speaker awards at both the 1992 North American Debating Championship, and the 1992 US National Debating Championship. Afterwards, he continued his education at Harvard Law School, graduating magna cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1995. While in there, he was not only an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, but also an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He founded the Harvard Latino Law Review too, and was known as a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics.
