The show first aired on television screens in 1991 and ran for a total of eight seasons. Ever since its television debut, “Home Improvement” became one of the most watched sitcoms in the 1990s and is thought to have helped the careers of Tim Allen, as well as Pamela Anderson, who portrayed a recurring character in the first two seasons of the show. In addition to the main cast, the show also featured guest appearances from Oprah Winfrey, Jenny McCarthy, Drew Carey, Jimmy Carter, Drake Bell and George Foreman to name a few. “Home Improvement” gathered many accolades, among them being ASCAP Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and People’s Choice Awards.

When the show finished its run in 1999, Tim Allen went on to appear in such films as “The Santa Clause”, which resulted in the creation of two more sequels, and voiced the character of Buzz Lightyear in a box-office hit “Toy Story” and its sequels. More recently, Tim Allen has returned to television series and is currently starring with Nancy Travis in a sitcom entitled “Last Man Standing”. Tim Allen’s earnings per episode of “Last Man Standing” amount to $250,000.

Tim Allen Net Worth $90 Million

A famous actor, how rich is Tim Allen? According to sources, Tim Allen’s net worth is estimated to be $90 million. Needless to say, most of Tim Allen’s net worth and wealth comes from his involvement in television.

Tim Allen was born in 1953, in Denver, Colorado, however Allen’s family eventually moved to Birmingham, where he studied at Earnest W. Seaholm High School. Tim Allen began his career by doing stand-up comedy and after his performance in one of the comedy clubs in Detroit, Allen started to be recognized locally. At the time, Tim Allen was featured in various advertisements and commercials, and even landed a role in a comedy show called “Some Semblance of Sanity”. Seeing acting as a potential way of earning a living, Tim Allen moved out to Los Angeles, where he had more opportunities of finding such work. In Los Angeles Allen began making appearances in a popular comedy club known as “The Comedy Store” and eventually landed a role in a series that would soon make him a well-known face in the entertainment industry called “Home Improvement”. Ever since then, Tim Allen has been making numerous on-screen appearances in such films as “Jungle 2 Jungle” with Martin Short, “Big Trouble” starring Rene Russo and Ben Foster, “Wild Hogs” with John Travolta and Martin Lawrence, and, more recently, “3 Geezers!” with J. K. Simmons. Allen’s appearances in television series include “Last Man Standing” and “Toy Story of Terror!”.
