Tom Daley Net Worth $4 Million

The oldest of three sons of Debbie and Robert, who died in 2011 from a brain tumor. Growing up in his hometown, he went to the Eggbuckland Community College, and later enrolled at Plymouth College; he could have gone to Brighton College, however, his father was against the decision, as Tom would be far from home.

Tom had focused on diving from an early age; starting when eight years old in 2002, as he was brought into the competitive squad after one of the coaches spotted his talent. Tom made his competitive debut in 2003, at the National Novice Championships, in which he won a medal in his age category. After that, he participated in Southampton, where he won the 1m, 3m and platform events.

The following year, Tom participated in the National Junior competition, and the youngest winner of the platform event. As he grew older, the events became tougher, however, he would win several even when competing with older divers.

At only 15 years of age, Tom qualified for and participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, in which he finished 8th in the synchro 10m event, and 7th in the individual 10m event. The next year was one best in his career, as he won FINA World Championships 10m platform event and British Championships 10m platform event, increasing his net worth by a large margin. He continued successfully in 2010, as he won another gold, this time at the Commonwealth Games’ 10m and 10m synchro events.

Two years later, he appeared in the 2012 London Olympic Games, in which he improved the result from Beijing, finishing 4th in the 10m synchro, and winning the bronze medal as an individual.

Undisputed in England, he won British Championships 10m platform in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016, and was also the winner of the European Championships in 2012 and 2016, all of which only increased further his net worth. Most recently, he competed in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, however, in the individual event he didn`t reach the finals, but in the synchro, he and Daniel Goodfellow reached the podium, finishing third in the finals, which also added to Tom`s net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Tom often posts videos on his YouTube channel, and has a great number of subscribers. He is openly gay and is engaged to screenwriter, director and producer Dustin Lance Black; the two live together in London.
