Thomas Mario Haas was born on the 3rd April 1978, in Hamburg, (then) West Germany, and is a professional tennis player, who has won 15 ATP titles in singles and one in doubles, while he reached semi-finals at the Australian Open in 1999, 2002, and 2007, and semis at Wimbledon in 2009, and he also won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, after losing in five sets to Yevgeny Kafelnikov.
