Twista Net Worth $7 Million
Carl Terrell Mitchell was raised in Chicago, Illinois and became interested in music in the early years of adolescence. In 1991 he signed a contract with the Zoo label, and a year later his debut album entitled “Runnin’ Off at da Mouth” (1992) was released. Up to the present date, Twista has released 12 singles, nine studio albums, nine featured albums and EPs. His first two albums were not very successful, as they failed to reach the music charts. The third album entitled “Adrenalin Rush” (1997) reached 13th position on the R&B chart and received gold certification for sales in theUSA. The fourth album “Kamikaze” (2004) was the most successful of all the albums released up to date, and topped both the main chart and the R&B chart in the USA as well as being certified platinum. The following album “The Day After” (2005) also topped the two charts, R&B and Rap, however, according to the sales it received only gold certification in the USA. The last album released by the rapper was entitled “Dark Horse” (2014), which peaked in fifth position of Rap chart in the USA. Regardless of relative success, all Twista’s releases have contributed to his net worth.
Twista has also voiced a street racer in the video game “L.A. Rush”. The documentary film based on the life of Twista entitled “Mr. Immortality: The Life and Times of Twista” directed by Vlad Yudin was released in 2011. In addition, Twista has launched his personal website where fans are able to write messages for him, to listen to his music or check tour dates. There is a possibility of purchasing stuff related to the musician as well as singles and studio albums. Of course such activities steadily contribute to Twista’s net worth.
In his personal life, Twista is in a long term relationship with Karrine Steffans.
