Victor, of Nigerian, and Sierra Leonean ancestry, he is the only son born to Joan Amanze Oladipo, and her husband Christopher Oladipo. His parents are highly educated immigrants who married in 1985 in the USA. Victor has three older sisters.
He grew up in Upper Marlboro, Maryland and went to DeMatha High School, located in Hyattsville, Maryland.
