Warrick Dunn spent his childhood with five younger siblings in his hometown, Baton Rouge, where he attended Catholic High School. Warrick actually raised his siblings, as his mother was murdered in 1993 when he was only 18 years old. While at high school, he began playing football, in positions such as quarterback, cornerback, and running back. As he excelled in the game, thanks to him, for the first time in history the team made it to the the state 4A championship game. So, Warrick was named All-America in his senior year.

Warrick continued to play football at the Florida University, setting several records, including most career rushing yards with 3,959, and he was also the holder of the record for the most rushing yards in a season with 1,242, broken by Dalvin Cook in the 2015 season. During his college career he also achieved several recognitions and awards, including the National Championship in 1993, and he was named into the First-team All-ACC three times, 1994-96.

Warrick`s professional career began in 1997, when he was selected as the 12th pick overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL Draft. He stayed with the team until the end of the 2001 season, largely increasing his net worth, as he signed a contract worth $4 million over four years. During his stint at the Buccaneers, Dunn won the Offensive Rookie Of The Year Award in 1997, and earned two Pro-Bowl selections in 1997 and 2000.

After his contract had expired, Dunn signed a contract worth $6 million over four years with the Atlanta Falcons, increasing further his net worth. He also received an extension on his contract for $2 million over two years, which also added to his net worth. During his time at the Falcons, Warrick earned his third and last Pro-Bowl appearance in 2005. Warrick was released from the club in 2008 on his own demand.

He then returned to the Buccaneers the same year, signing a $6 million contract over two years, however, he was released by the Buccaneers in 2009, after which he finished his professional career. During his career, Warrick received several recognitions and awards, including Ed Block Courage Award in 1998, and Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2004, among others.

Regarding Warrick Dunn’s personal life, little is known in the media except that he is apparently still single.
