Elizabeth was raised with two sisters, partly by her stepfather, businessman William Davidson, who is known to be the former owner of the Detroit Pistons. She attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart, and after matriculating went to Oakland University, but only stayed there for a year, and then moved to the Juilliard School in New York where she became a part of the Drama Division’s Group 28, before graduating with a Fine Arts degree in 1999.
Reaser began her on-screen acting career by appearing in support roles both on television as well as in films. She also started appearing on stage, making her professional stage debut in “Sweet Bird of Youth” playing the role of Heavenly. Other projects she had early in her career include in “Emmett’s Mark”, “Stay” and “The Sopranos”. Her net worth started to increase as well as her popularity when she was cast in the film “Sweet Land”, in which she played the role of Young Inge, which earned her a Newport Beach Film Festival Award as well as a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award. She was then cast in a main role as Alice Alden, M. D. in the series “Saved”, for which she had to spend some time in a hospital to observe the behavior of medical staff.
