How rich is Fiona Bruce? As of early-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $3 million, mostly earned through a successful career in journalism. She also anchored her own series, and as she continues her career, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.

Fiona attended Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College in London, and during her time there, started working for the magazine “Jackie”, which she served as the model for the stories. After matriculating, she attended Hertford College, Oxford, reading French and Italian, and she also sang in rock bands.

After graduating, Bruce joined a management consulting firm, but only stayed for a year as she disliked the experience. She then worked for various advertising agencies, including Boase Massimi Pollitt. However, after meeting editor Tim Gardam, Bruce pestered him until she was given work as a researcher for the program “Panorama”, where she eventually worked there or several years, and would become an assistant producer. Soon more opportunities would open for her to increase her net worth; she started reporting in 1992 on “Breakfast News”, and then moved to become a reporter of the weekly program “Newsroom South East”, before later becoming a reporter for the program “Public Eye”. then moving to “BBC Ten O’Clock News”, actually the first female presenter of the program. In 2003, Bruce became a part of the current affairs series “Real Story”, on which she worked for the next four years, but meantime joining “Crimewatch” alongside Nick Ross as co-presenter, and staying with the show until 2007.

Fiona also worked on other programs for BBC, becoming the presenter for “Antiques Roadshow” in 2008, and working on the documentary about Cherie Blair. She also occasionally worked on special editions of “The Money Programme”, and featured in an episode of “Top Gear”. She also became a part of “Children of Need” for several years, and showed a less serious side of herself. In 2010, she worked on the documentary “A Royal Love Story” which focuses on the love affair between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, then the following year became the co-host of the series “Fake or Fortune?” which showcases how modern techniques establish the authenticity of art. A few of her latest projects include the quiz program “Hive Minds”, and she also worked on the documentary entitled “The Queen’s Places”, still adding to her net worth.

For her personal life, it is known that Bruce married Nigel Sharrocks in 1994; he is the non-executive chairman of Digital Cinema Media. They have two children together. She mentioned that she does not use social media. She also does various charity works and serves as the honorary vice president of Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).

1I do worry about my looks being shot in high definition on the Roadshow. Whoever invented that must have been a bloke, and he was probably about 18 years old. It's a nightmare. I get followed round by a make-up artist to ensure I look half-decent. That has been a slight wake-up call.
2I work in a visual medium and I am judged by my appearance. There's going to come a time when my face won't fit any more, for whatever reason. When I got the job of presenter on the Six, other people were being fired. I got taken in one door and I was hired. Other presenters were going out of the other door. I just thought, 'That's how it will be for me one day. I'll be the last person to find out about it and, when it does happen, don't get bitter and twisted about it'.
