Yvette Prieto, born on March 1979, is a Cuban-American model, also famously known as the wife of former basketball star and now owner of National Basketball Association team the Charlotte Hornets, Michael Jordan.

In 2008, Prieto’s life changed when she met basketball star Michael Jordan, at a Miami night club, with reports saying that Jordan noticed Prieto due to her ‘freak dancing’. Later on in 2009 the two officially became a couple and moved in together into a lavish house in Kendall, Florida.

Aside from being a power couple they are also a philanthropic one; Prieto along with her husband Jordan decided to refuse to accept gifts on their wedding day. The couple advised all the guests at their wedding to direct their gifts to the James R. Jordan Foundation instead of giving to them. All of the flowers received during the nuptials were forwarded to the Jupiter Medical Center.
In terms of Prieto’s personal life, upon marrying in 2013, she and Jordan welcomed their identical twin daughters Victoria and Ysabel in February of 2014. Prieto also became stepmom to Jordan’s three children, a product of his previous marriage.
